About Willene Byrd

Willene attended CPCC where she earned a A.A. in Management Information Systems prior to completing a B.S. at Gardner Webb University. She earned a teaching certificate from UNC at Charlotte and has taught elementary education for 10 years at Hickory Grove Baptist Christian School. She and her husband Bobby, together have committed to following God’s leading to serve as Central American Director of Missions in Guatemala where they will focus on pastoral support, missions support, and church planting. They are passionate individuals whose heart’s desire is to see others come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Since 2001 they have served together in evangelism, youth and singles ministry.
