Peace Haven Baptist Church 2013

What a great week with the people of Peace Haven! We spent Thanksgiving week in Peten, Guatemala which is about 10 hours from the city. There is a lot to be thankful for after this wonderful week with our two pastors that are working in that area. We attended church in La Gloria with Pastor Antonio and the church he is working with there. I am very excited about what God is doing in that community where we were able to work with the children doing VBS for two days. We also cleaned the land where the new church will some day be. Some of the same children that we saw last year are attending church and returned to VBS this year.

For the next two days the team did a VBS with the kids in San Juan, where our pastor, Vicente is beginning a new work. There were over 100 children in attendance which gave Pastor Vicente a lot of new people to visit. In both areas the group prepared stories, crafts, games, and songs. It was a great week working along side Peace Haven to bring the gospel to these people. Thank you for all your hard work!
