The purpose of World Reach Missions is to become leaders of change by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through spiritual, physical, educational and financial opportunities.
World Reach, Inc. was established in 1997 by a group of individuals whose hearts desire was to impact the world by becoming leaders of change and elevating the well-being of less fortunate people, and creating opportunities that would result in better health, education, and social conditions.
Bobby & Willene Byrd are natives of North Carolina. Bobby served as Vice President of The Byrd’s Group, a regional landscape management firm where he was responsible for sales, marketing and financial oversight. He attended Central Piedmont Community College where he earned a A.A. with a focus on Spanish and is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies at Southern Evangelical Bible College.
Willene attended CPCC where she earned a A.A. in Management Information Systems prior to completing a B.S. at Gardner Webb University. She earned a teaching certificate from UNC at Charlotte and has taught elementary education for 10 years at Hickory Grove Baptist Christian School.
Bobby currently serves as Central America Director of Missions for World Reach Inc. where he is responsible for pastoral support, church planting and short-term missions. Together they have committed to following God’s leading to serve as Central American Director of Missions in Guatemala where they will focus on pastoral support, missions support, and church planting. They are passionate individuals whose heart’s desire is to see others come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
